Honors Program
John Sugg is an attorney who focuses his practice on business law and litigation, including disputes regarding businesses, trusts and estates, real estate, and construction.
John’s business law and litigation experience includes representing businesses and individuals in a wide variety of contract disputes, fiduciary duty disputes, and other business torts, along with negotiating and drafting contracts, such as restrictive covenant agreements and employment agreements.
John’s trust and estate experience includes representing beneficiaries of wills and trusts, and his real estate experience includes landlord-tenant disputes, breach of real estate purchase contracts, and real property torts. His construction experience includes matters, such as negligent construction and lien disputes.
John has an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubbell, and he has been selected to Georgia’s Super Lawyers along with Georgia’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars for several years. He is a Board Member and past two-time President of the Sandy Springs Bar Association. John is also an Alumnus of the 2012 Leadership Academy of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
Before joining Knight Palmer, John was a shareholder of Davis, Matthews & Quigley, P.C.
When he is not practicing law, John enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, food, skiing, and watching college football.
